Poppy

It felt appropriate to blip a Poppy today and I happened to have this one to hand.

At 8am the church bell tolled once for each life lost of someone in the village during WW1. It rang 46 times.

In other news, Poppy doesn't like risotto (here she is, preparing bagels and Philadelphia for her evening meal), Bertie rolled in something hideous and had to be bathed and I have nearly finished 'The House We Grew Up In' ; a great, easy read.
