Mountain top in Vegas!

Most people only know the strip but Vegas has some magnificent mountains surrounding it. We drove about 45 mins North to Mount Charleston and saw some amazing sights. This one was taken at 7000ft elevation and much cooler temperatures. The peak still has snow on it!

Down below it over a 100 degrees but up here it was a cool 60 degrees, we needed our jackets. The rain clouds were also rolling in so expecting some rain later on. I think we may have to go back, it so breathtaking and heavenly.
