The Before Picture

This is our ugly old patio table & one of it's chairs...it was here when we bought the house and it's perfect for our lovely Texas weather because those super winds that like to throw garden furniture up trees can't move this knarly, indesctructable old table :0)
..but it's rusty and ugly and desperately in need of some brightly colored spray paint, in my opinion, mr Tex was not so sure :0) ... so on Saturday I gave it all a face lift....'After' pic to follow, I just have to give the top a second coat because I thought I knew better than the man at the paint department and I only bought 3 cans instead of 4, so Mr Tex had to get me another can. Now I will have some leftover - hmmm what to transform next LOL

that grass in the background looks so lovely and green and inviting in the pic, but don't be deceived, this is north Texas weed grass, it's hard and spikey, full of evil prickles and infested with vicious fire ants (and the odd tarantula) - dance barefoot in it at your own risk :0)
