Lights Out
At 10pm tonight the chis along with many other households in the UK will turn off their house lights and light a single candle, the candle burns for an hour because 100 years ago at 11pm was the time Britain declared war on Germany.
About 17 million Soldiers and civilians were killed between 1914 and 1918.
Life in the trenches must have been awful, smelly, dirty and riddled with diseases, millions of rats livid in the trenches, along side the soldiers.
Mustard gas was a major killer, so gas masks became very important.
Lights out 10 pm....remember those who gave their lives for Great Britain.
Beans preparing for the gas as she has smelt what one of the other chis does best!!!!!
