Minn Beach

The "staycation" is working well so far. If Shetland could get this weather all summer every summer we'd be overrun with tourists. While short-sleeved short day for us the Aussie we met on the same walk at the South end of Burra reckoned winter in Melbourne would still be a lot warmer and was wearing a jacket (he was wearing shorts however). Apart from him only met one other on the walk and there were about six on the beach.

Plenty of terns, skuas, plovers and other waders about on this part of Shetland where the ground is usually very wet at all times but was bone dry today.
