Unfortunately, this week looks a bit of a washout in terms of lunchtime wanders up to check out Fringe acts on the Royal Mile. Still there's a few weeks' to go for me to annoy them with a camera.

These orange specs were being used to publicize one of the bars and I asked a member of staff how I could get a pair. She came up with some arbitrary and somewhat capricious non-committal statement which washed over me. So I picked on this subject who has already successfully negotiated to get a pair.
