Remembrance

EP had a long walk this afternoon round some of the wheat fields by the river and spotted a very few poppies remaining where there had been a few hundred earlier in the summer. It seemed appropriate today to blip one.

Tomorrow I'm driving up to visit my parents while EP stays here at home to work on his dissertation. I'm quite excited as it's the first time for over a year that I have been well enough to drive the journey on my own and really looking forward to seeing my family. I will do my best to keep posting but comments may be sparse until I'm home again.

Tonight we're going to see 'The Buddy Holly Story' at the theatre in Newcastle, it promises to be a great show.
