Dave's attempt at his mum's rice pudding

Dave made his mum's pudding in her famous rice pudding dish. How many rice puddings have been made in this dish for how many people over 50+ years?

He did a great job. Creamy and sweet. Pretty good - I watched him asking Betty for the recipe a few month's ago. "Recipe?" she said. "Enough rice to cover the bottom, a good amount of sugar, pour milk in till it looks right then add a bit more...." A typical "mother" recipe I thought at the time! A loving tribute to keep the tradition up.

And Maggie is there because...? Well she is just always there. Especially at meal times. And she looks kind of cute!
