Near harvest

This time of year is so great; I just go to the garden to get most of the dinner makings, then behind the barn to the blackberry bushes for the dessert. Few Italian plums are ripening. The deer have eaten most of the leaves on the lower branches, let's see if the fruit survives : ). Perfect summer weather continues, hot days, pleasant velvety nights.
