I've been working hard with the diet and exercise for a year now, and I am so happy and feeling so much better about myself! I've never been big, but 3 years ago I had an overactive thyroid, which left me a stone and a half heavier than I was normally, and it took forever to get it back under control. So happy to be back to the way I was before, and finding it very easy to maintain- I hate meals and the only carbs I eat are biscuits!

Horrible dream last night that one of my sister's died- so relieved to wake up to find it was not in fact real! I've been having very vivid dreams lately.

Nothingy sort of day today. I was going to go to London, but didn't want to go alone. Ended up taking my sister to collect her car which she left at Piccolino's last night, and then popped to Windsor for a browse. I bought a cushion and some make up.

I headed to the gym and had a great session. I must have spent over an hour on bars, but I managed my squat on by myself! I worked with a couple of friends, one of whom is at a similar level on bars, and we both spurred each other on! We started something called a 3/4 baby giant (!), and two people helped guide us over the top bar. I was a total chicken up there, and at first refused to front circle down as it was too high! I managed it on the second try. It really does feel great to accomplish things that were once so out of reach, or seemingly so. It gives you a buzz, and I like it. We did Ab training again tonight- argh! Best to do it in a group as it's more fun :-)

Must have worked hard as my arms felt a bit disconnected from my body as I was washing my face this evening! I have a feeling I may be in for a painful week.... and I was planning to go three more times next week.

** I always wondered what these things in the pic were- they are in fact slides!
