Trent Bridge

One of the nation's iconic test cricket grounds, this was Trent Bridge today.
The players of both teams are practising and limbering up before the NatWest T20 quarter-final between Nottinghamshire Outlaws and Hampshire.
This is taken from the Pavilion End looking north and west across towards the Trent Bridge Inn.
Sadly Notts were outplayed, thanks partly to some sloppy bowling, but mainly to a superb innings of 93 not out from Hampshire's Vince, and so it was they who progress to the semis and final to be played at Edgbaston in three weeks time.
