Mum and dad's

We've enjoyed a wonderful 24-hours at mum and dad's. Last night, we had good chats and a curry followed by watching the Commonwealth Games and not too late a night.

This morning was leisurely, spent in their lovely garden where butterflies and dragonflies abound. We've really enjoyed relaxing with them with easy conversation and wanders around the garden for a bit of wildlife spotting.

After being fed well as usual, we decided that spending more time doing exactly the same was a perfect thing to do to while away the afternoon.

Any knowledge on what type of dragonfly this might be would be much appreciated. ...Common darter maybe?
