Newark Air Museum

A change of plan! We were due to go home today but R hurt her back last week and has been in considerable pain. We came up early on Friday to take her to see the GP and then do the driving to get her to work. She was OK (of sorts) when walking but not sitting.

P is off to Saudi Arabia in the morning so we are staying so that B can drive her to work tomorrow and then take her to see the physio in the evening!! She is a little better with the medication and a tens machine.

B & I went off to Newark to see aeroplanes!! Spent 5 hrs reminiscing about aircraft that he has worked on and my experiences of living near to aircraft that are remembered for the amount of noise they made!!!

PS This is a Shackleton (fondly known as 1000's of rivets flying in close formation!!!)
