Bindweed (Calystegia sepium)

This beautiful flower bud will erupt in the next few days into a stunning flower, with pure large, white trumpet flowers.

It is however an insidious and invasive weed which makes the average gardener shudder at he thought of its presents in their patch.

This bloom is fortunately for me to found in the wood next to us.
