Causing a commotion...

I braved the elements this evening to attend another of Glasgow's cultural events that are running in tandem with the Commonwealth Games.

A free gig in Glasgow Green, organised by the wonderful Chemikal Underground, was closed by an all time favourite of mine, Lloyd Cole. His old band were the Commotions but he's now joined by the Leopards. Grrrr - they sounded fierce!

This couple, busting some serious moves in the rain, made a great blip.

When he played one of my favourite songs, brand new friend , I had a lump in my throat and I didn't even notice the rain.
