birds at Audley End

Miss C left this morning after breakfast so after a tidy up and catching up with the commonwealth games we sat in the garden enjoying another warm sunny morning.
We decided to walk down to Audley End and listen to the sound check practice for the last night at the proms concert. We walked around the grounds first,these not real pheasants hang outside the kitchens. Queues for getting into the concert area where very long because the sound check was delayed, we sat on the temple listening whilst they all waited, it was five o'clock when we left and the crowds where getting restless.
The spitfire has just flown over to mark the start of the concert but i could not take a photo as my memory card was still in the computer.
What am i going to watch tomorrow? Have loved watching the games and the TDF what next?
