Retreat

Up early this morning to go to the spice and gold souks, to learn that Friday is a holiday. So everything is shut... Very surreal wandering through the deserted souks, but remarkably peaceful... We then took a water taxi across Dubai Creek and came across this area while on our way to find the Basta Art Cafe. Lovely to see the traditional architecture- a complete contrast to the Dubai I've been getting accustomed to!
