New planter

PaulaJ drew our attention to Potfest. This is an occasional gathering of potters in Penrith. (One of my daughters thought it was a gathering of ageing hippies so we had to put her right on that score.) There is a Scottish version held at Scone near Perth.

The event was held in an Auction Mart so the air had an agricultural freshness about it. And there were around 100 exhibitors showing off their wares. It was quite a spectacle with work of high quality and at reasonable prices.

So we bought a planter.

Then we went off to buy some plants at Larch Cottage Nurseries. They had an astonishing range of plants for sale. Despite it being across the border, I shall become a regular. There is a difference between nurseries and garden centres.
