Window sill

This much-loved cottage I visited in the week, like so many in Devon that are neither second homes or holiday lets, seems to be sinking into the hillside. It is made of cob and thatch, literally part of the land around it. Old and unkempt and very special! I thought you might like to see the living room window sill..
