Golden Boy

This (I think) is a Cymbidium orchid. The "Golden Boy" hybrid to be precise. The genus is native to "the higher altitudes in mid-Asia (China and Japan) down through southeast Asia and extending south of the equator with a number of species in Australia". Apparently well suited to parts of South Africa too, as this one seems to be.

It's a popular orchid. There's even a "Cymbidium Society" in America.
