Byodoin Temple in Uji

Today was our last day in Kyoto and we could not decide where to go as there are so many places to visit in the city and it's vicinity. At the end the gourmet experience and our love for tea won and we went to the city of tea called Uji. We haven't drunk so much matcha in our lives as we have drunk today. And we had Matcha ice cream and Matcha biscuits and Matcha jam and we attended tea ceremony in Uji and of course to balance spiritual and all the earthly pleasures we also visited this temple :-)
