Silver girl

Our day at the Commonwealth Games today. At Hampden to see the Athletics. Great evening, made better by seeing Lynsey Sharp win a silver medal in the 800m. She was in 5th place as she rounded the bend where we were - incredible to see her sprint so hard to take 2nd place.

We were sitting with a great view of the pole vault, but the Scot in contention didn't make the medals - what a sport that is though!

Oh, and we joined in the signing of "Bonnie Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond" when Usain Bolt appeared - although I wasn't sure what the connection was.
