Smeaton's Tower

An early morning walk in the sunshine on Plymouth Hoe, so I couldn't resist Blipping my favourite sight in the whole world, Smeaton's Tower.

The former Eddystone lighthouse was moved brick by brick and rebuilt on Plymouth Hoe - you can climb up to the top; when I was a child you could get halfway up before you had to pay your ten pence so it was a source of great entertainment to do that.

We shall be homeward bound this evening after Sunday dinner at my Mum's, the plan is to miss the M5 car park by driving at night. We shall see how successful that is!
