Tree growing on a rock in Tillamook Bay

Every time I drive by this rock I look to see what is perching there. I have seen everything from a Bald Eagle, Cormorants, to Puffins here.

Tonight I didn't have a photo I loved so I decided to go to "the rock" and I found a large number of cormorants silhouetted against the cloudy sky. I may have waited until it was too late for a brighter sky; but honestly we had very little sun today.

We fished in the ocean near the mouth of Tillamook Bay and caught a couple beautiful Chinook salmon. They were my first fish of the year; needless to say, I am very excited. So why didn't I submit a photo of my fish? My hubby is too efficient and the fish were filleted before I got a photo!
