Archimedes

Archimedes
was a clever man
who noticed how things float.

The volume of
an odd-shaped thing
(e.g. a catamaran)

is equal to the volume
of the water it displaces
when submerged.

He’s right.
Today, as Archimedes sank
I saw the river rise.
