My life

A late blip from the garden!

Working today and no opportunity or time to catch a blip, so looking outside for inspiration and it came in the form of my Easter Island Head statue. Half lit by the garden lights it stands quietly looking toward the house from the edge of the decking.

Moai are monolithic human figures carved by the Rapa Nui people from rock on the Chilean Polynesian island of Easter Island between the years 1250 and 1500.
Believed to be a representation of the Islands ancestors they mainly look away from the sea into the villages to watch over the people.
