Flock of......... Bats

Yes, bats.

I was at work on a Sunday and looked up at the flock that was flying over. I realised that it was not a flock of birds; it was bats. The picture does not do the scene justice as there were far more in the sky. The trouble is they were high and a wider angle didn't show what they were. I zoomed in to get a few as they passed the early evening Moon. They have a wingspan of about 80 cms - not as big as Australian Fruit Bats, but impressive all the same.
