Ripe at last

Finally I have a ripe (almost anyway!) tomato. I've had loads of green ones for a while but they seem to have resisted ripening. Now, at last, they are turning red. Mother-in-law duty this morning, and spent some of the afternoon reading - very lazy but thoroughly enjoyable. We went for a walk this afternoon and I now need to read the newspaper before it's all old news.
