Fringe fun

It was the Pleasance Edinburgh a Fringe Press launch today, and in a similar vein to last year, the weather was awful. That said, It didn't spoil the fun, the selection of acts that will appear in the next three weeks was great. Favourites included 'This is Brazil', Angela Barnes, a comedienne, as well as the Voca People, aliens who sing and harmonise without any instruments. Following the show, there was a free lunch provided, which was pretty good.

Thanks for all your kind wishes for my mum, which are very much appreciated. I was over at the Southern General today, and things are ticking over, with an MRI scan promised for Monday. The nurses, doctors and other staff are all great and the hospital looks pretty clean to me, with loads of alcohol gels around.
