midwife crisis

evergreen colour

Sad to say the rain and thick white cloud of a more tradition Irish summer has set in. A cardigan is needed and socks just feel all wrong! The Irish buildings are traditionally bright, bold and often have fabulously clashing colours that look great. This little community centre is immaculately looked after and a beacon of colour on a miserable day.

Mum and baby are flying it. I did have a couple of glasses of veno myself to celebrate last night :0) Dinner for 8 squeezed, round our wee little table makes for a cosy and noisy night and a it was fine old catch up with friends and neighbors. I got introduced to the wonders and benefits of modern cycling skirts. Not tweed and not long....you can see more than ankles apparently.
I was to be off for a long hack this afternoon, but it'll be a cuppa and film I think, it's lashing.
