White Storks

Counted 17 storks today - here's 5 of them in the sunlight.

A rare black stork was spotted and photographed here last week. The photos made it in our local newspaper - I wish they would have been mine!

Of course no black one waiting for me today, but still great to watch these wonderful birds strutting around in the meadows and flying over my head.
They let me come close up to a certain distance several times and then took off, but landed not far from me. The menu was a good one here in all that green, I guess!

I so wish the black stork would have still been around to make my 1500th blip one to remember.
