Itoturumu

I make a ghostly reappearance at Itoturumu - which means Sitting Dog in Turkish - in the Aladag Mountains of south central Turkey.

The climber on the top of this volcanic plug (about 90m high) is Recep Catak. He was later killed in an accident on Mount Ararat where he slid down an easy ice slope without a helmet, smashing his head on a rock. One of those accidents that should never have happened.
