Indoors again

Brilliant day yesterday weather wise and in activities. We went to the Games. Drove through and got parked close to venue. Into town for a walk around. Wonderful atmosphere. Lunch then straight onto a games bus to the stadium. Saw the Pole Vault, women's High jump, Women's 800 metres, women's shot putt, men's and women's 4x400 relays, men's 10000 metres - all finals along with heats for 1500 metres. Wonderful with joys, anguish, determination and grit and a wonderfully generous crowd. Constant rain today so pleasant day largely inside. Into Waterstone's for a coffee. Saw a grandparent considering a purchase. I feel a glass of wine calling me.
