Little Venice

When I got to the entrance to the tube at Paddington, there was a huge crowd milling around. Access to the platforms was closed due to the number of people already there. To avoid the crush I went for a short walk out along the Paddington basin to Little Venice. If you could dodge the fast moving commuter cyclists hogging the shared path, it was a nice walk.

Made my way back to the station to find the gates to the platforms still closed. Eventually made it to work but only just on time.

My canal side walk was a nice start to a busy day.
