My little feathered friend
I was washing up when this young Great Tit flew into the window. I rushed out to rescue it, only to see Tinks appear round the corner carrying it in her mouth! Oh no! Off she ran with me following and I found her hiding under a bush with the bird on the ground. Tinks inside, I went back out to see the damage. I gently picked him up, where he tried to have a peck at my hand. I placed him on this stone pillar and after a few minutes he flew up into the trees. He was stunned from hitting the window, in shock from the cats mouth but all seemed well in the end.
I was stunned too that Tinks caught the bird (she is not too adventurous). I could just imagine that she was sitting below the window with her mouth open!!
Enjoy your weekend.
