OK, so there's the thing on blip where you've got to decide whether to post the photo that you want up there as a reminder of the day or whether to post what you think is the best photo you took all day or whether you just stick up your favourite regardless of any reason whatsoever. Today's choice sits firmly in the first camp.

A lovely event in one of the BBC tents at Potterrow, part of the Scottish Book Trust's Authors Live series with children's illustrator Nick Sharratt. Everyone got given paper and pencils on the way in to join Nick in a bit of live drawing as he talked about his work and gave tips to all the budding young artists in attendance. The character being drawn in the photo is Caveman Dave.

Lunch out, a few ticket-collecting jobs around town and then favourite photos of the day were taken of a semi-demolished building that I've photographed several times before pre-demolition. Dunno how long this one will take to come down completely, better hurry back...

Play in the evening, Unfaithful at the Traverse. More than decent, liked it but didn't love it.
