From the Shields Ferry

The Shields Ferry goes across the mouth of the Tyne between North and South Shields.
A lovely day. A Friend met me on the north side and we walked and talked to Tynemouth, had tea and cake and then walked and talked back.
The main buliding is the North Shields fish market with Tynemouth Priory in the distance on the left and the Collingwood Monument on the right.
