Hellebore

At long last, a flower from my garden....its been too long. I noticed these budding up when we came home from holiday last Saturday. With the warm weather they have opened, this one is very "blousey" but I love the pure white with the green centres.

Enjoyed a lunch time visit from my friend Lucy today, we refrained from opening a bottle of wine today, not like the last visit...oops!!

Timaru has experienced the 2nd warmest July since records began, been lovely but our three local ski fields are not as happy. Of course, we still could get snow yet, but notice the days are getting noticeably longer. Lambing is in full swing now, a sure sign the weather will turn to crap....poor wee lambkins.

The final of the Super 15 tonight....our Crusaders V The Waratahs (ozzie). It will be tense.
