Mr Turtle

While at the play park today, two young girls got out of a car and dumped this turtle in a bush right next to the children's play equipment. They then got back in the car and drove off.
On closer inspection we discovered he was a red-eared slider terrapin and needed to be beside water. The boys were concerned about where he had been dumped. So they picked him up, carried him over the big hill at the park and placed him by the nearby pond. Mr Turtle came back out of his shell, sat for a few minutes and went into the water.
A much better home for him than a bush in the play park!!
