Vibe

Finally got round to taking the kids into town to soak up the whole Commonwealth games vibe going on.
Wow!
There's so much happening, wish we'd gone in sooner. What a fantastic atmosphere, and so lovely to see so many visitors enjoying their stay. The rain stayed away, the Sun came out and complemented the carnival atmosphere created by The Sierra Leone Refugee All Stars band. They got everyone dancing!
I took this photo on the way home as the sun was getting low, the party was continuing for some..Friday night and all that. I came home and watched Lynsey Sharp fight her way to a Silver medal in the 800m, a thrilling race.
Hoping to get to Kelvingrove Bandstand tomorrow to see what's happening there.
I have a lot of back blipping to do. I dismantled the computer whilst cleaning the other day and have a new laptop to set up, so am a bit behind.
