The Basin

Located in Franconia State Park, NH, this giant nature-made pothole formed thousands of years ago by ice and river rocks. The granite bowl spans 20 feet and is filled by a roaring spout. The Basin's incredible beauty and perfectly rounded edges surrounding the Pemigeswasset River attract tourists from all over.
