Sound to Sea

I was very lucky to get a ticket to the free event Sound To Sea held at Pacific Quay in the shadow of the Science Centre and its tower. Essentially we were treated to an array of boats, ships and kayaks. Flares, fireworks and horns. And a different Scottish musician floating in and performing live on each one.

The Glasgow Phoenix Choir sang on the riverside and opera and beatboxing and electronic and rock music drifted over from the boats.

So beautiful. And HMS Bangor appeared. And so many other beautiful boats. And the fireworks were amazing!

I saw Lynsey Sharp win her silver medal and cry through her post race interview just before this, on the big screen.
