Golden Kelpie

The Kelpies were illuminated in gold tonight to celebrate Team Scotland's achievements in the Commonwealth Games. We took a trip over at sunset and walked around until darkness started to fall. It was a lovely evening and many people were there photographing the event.

While we were out yesterday morning John got a text from the hospital to say they had a space for him on Monday for his hip op. Unfortunately it was declined because he has a poisoned finger and on antibiotics. Hopefully, though, it won't be long now before he gets another appointment.
