TOO WET FOR BOATING

As I took this photo I was approached by an elderly man with a strong aura of alcohol about him.
Man: Are you taking a picture of the boats?
Me: Yes.
Man: I'm 80 and those darker coloured ones are older than me, they've been so well maintained.
Me: Really?
Man: And the boathouse used to build the boats used in the Oxford and Cambridge boat race.
Me: That's interesting.
Man: It's a crying shame what they've done to it (it's a riverside bar) when you think of its history.
Me: Thank you for telling me that.
Man: I talk a lot of rubbish really, specially when I've had a drink.
