Going home

Cycling back from work this evening and something white caught my eye as it flew up into a tree.
Turned out to be a Little egret, who was very obliging and didn't fly away while I a) got off my bike, b) found my camera, c) took a couple of shots in which everything was overexposed because the bird was so white, d) remembered I could over-ride the automatic 'eejit proof' settings, and finally e) managed to do so.
