And so to one of our favoured campsites at Chatsworth, where we can set up and then basically stay put - step through a door (once you have the key from the warden!) and you're in the Estate parkland and can walk about for miles.
However this time temperatures were so high, we weren't planning to do that, otherwise our wee sausage dog really would become a hot dog.
So we set off for a gentle stroll early morning, hung around the site reading and doing nothing more strenuous than walking to the reception for an ice-cream, and then another stroll later in the evening.
This is what greeted us at about 9am as we started off.
