early rising

It has been quiet and mellow today at the seaside. I was up really early (around 5) and pottered around and sketched some fruit and drank coffee. Then at about 7 the sun came up over the water. Not as dramatic as I have seen, but still beautiful. I am taking the pictures through the windows which are jammed for some reason plus there is a lot of condensation. I notice that the camera seems to extract more light from the dark than I can see with my eye. Its going to be a lovely day - all day
