He was just backing back up out of the depths of a Campsis trumpet. Can you see how damaged one wing is ? : amazing he can fly at all eh!.
I'm in a similar state having paid this morning the first months rent on a cupboard of a flat. I went in with the warden to look again and wept.
I will tomorrow set too to contact decorators to get a coat of good white paint around it. That might cheer it and me up a bit.
Time for treats I reckon : about to cook some organic chicken with tarragon & cream. Bottles of cold good pilsner in the fridge.
