Fairies at the bottom of the garden

They were out enjoying the cool of the evening! They seem to still be appreciating the house that I painted for them last year!

I got rather caught up watching the bowls today - something I really enjoy when I get round to it! I love the way the balance of a game can change in an instant - all gentle bowling, then all of a sudden thwack! - the jack goes flying! It was a pity that England didn't win either of the matches I watched, but the women's doubles was a fantastic match. In between I managed to cook a roast lunch - which we all felt like eating now the weather is cooler.

The diving is on at the moment, but I can't tell a good dive from a bad one....
