When Benjamin Ferrand built this folly in 1796 - in Cottingley Woods - he would have been able to see across to his Mansion House in St Ives - on the opposite hillside - a view now restricted by trees

Think it may be folly I've been invited to be in a quiz team this evening - it being Yorkshire Day - am expecting some questions on God's own county
